Description

For Al dente (firm texture) add to boiling water and cook for 10-12 minutes.  Make sure that you add lots of water since there is so much fiber that these will soak up water while boiling.  These can then be added to pasta salads, baked dishes, baked for crunchy chips with seasonings. Enjoy!

2 Year Shelf Life

5 Net Carbs per 2 oz serving. Make Mac n Cheese, cold pasta salads, casseroles, the possibilities are endless. Just boil between 8-15 minutes depending on how you like your pasta done. This is a little bit more on the al dente side but has a great mouth feel and is sinfully delicious! This is shelf stable for a year.

This gets a 2 as flavor neutral. It’s the texture that’s very off. Very. I bought 4 packages.
1st cooked to pkg directions on 10 min. Was inedible (also I stirred which made all the pieces break up to mush. Customer service said could 12 min and test so did second bag. Nope. This time uncooked pasta w cardboard center. Did not stir though and looked like pasta. Commmunity review folks said May need to cook 20-30 mins. 3rd bag cooked 17 minutes. Outside starting to mush and inside too extremely al dente. Just not quite cooked. Used a Chinese hand strainer to remove but just trying to toss w sauce left me 1-2” pieces. They taste good as great sauce and lots of parmigiana reggiano. Just noodle texture off still. 4th package, did a full 20 minute and inside noodles much better but outside so mushy and it all broke apart again. It could just be noodle shape that’s problematic and makes it not cook well. Although has gluten, not been developed (kneaded?) sufficiently to create any elasticity in this product.
Possible spaghetti shape cooks more evenly and suspect less time. Sorry. Just can’t recommend due to paste like texture and mouth feel. Spent $35 and change and just couldn’t make this work.
Looking forward to macaroni as rave community reviews and maybe compact shape has different mouth feel? I won’t purchase this item again. Wish I could post a photo.
