You can toast the bread directly from the freezer. It’s helpful to put slices of bread in zip lock bags so that you don’t have to try and break off slices when it’s frozen. You can then either microwave for 10 seconds at a time (as to not dry out) until thawed or you can let thaw in the fridge (usually 2-3 until hours). Same with bagels, buns etc.
Why our products are different from others
We use a combination of almond flour , flax meal and oat fiber to keep them very low in carbs and still taste good.
Net carbs are the total carbohydrates minus fiber and sugar alcohols (in our case we only use high-quality erythritol).
The FDA requires US labeling to include fiber and sugar alcohols in the total carbs unless most other countries in the world who subtract already to give the net carb count.
We only use high quality ingredients like Almond flour, flax meal, oat fiber, Olive oil/Avocado oil. We never use soy beans in any of our products and all of our ingredients are non gmo.
Our mass market competitors use a lot of soy beans, unsustainable palm oils and other cheap ingredients and harsh preservatives.
The high quality, non gmo, kosher ingredients that we use cost 200-300% more than mass market ”keto” products.
Our products are fresh for about a week after leaving our warehouse but need to be stored refrigerated if an opened bag and frozen if unopened so they will be the freshest when you’re ready to eat.
We recommend thawing in the fridge or for immediate use you can put in the microwave under a damp paper towel for 15-20 seconds.
Because they are loaded with fiber and protein, we don’t recommend toasting for longer than 2-3 minutes or they will become very hard. Do not toast or bake until they are brown.
Because our pasta has so much protein it takes longer to cook (10 minutes for al dente(harder) or as much as 45 minutes for super soft). Because everyone has a different preference on how they like their pasta texture to be, we recommend cooking and checking often to desired texture.
