These are the best low-carb bread I’ve had. OK, so they are not a New York bagel, but since I’ve been keto, I’ve been craving a good sandwich. These do the trick. I’ve found that toasting them drys them out a bit, so I thaw them in a plastic sandwich bag, slice and eat as is. Not crumbly like some low-carb breads and also have some “chew” to them. Satisfying.

For low carb these are pretty darn good. Glad to have found them. The texture and flavor is a bit different from a pumpernickel bagel, but I think they do the trick. Most certainly something I’ll be reordering.

For a low carb alternative to real pumpernickels these are very good. Thawed out of the freezer and lightly toasted with cream cheese and chives, is a nice treat when I’m not intermittent fasting. Not as chewy as bagels from the other low carb company, have a lighter airy texture which is what I was hoping for.

Pleeeease do not try and compare low carb bagels to the real deal. Real bagels are a what happens when gluten is allowed to shine. But if you want to honor your health and choose a low carb vessel for cream cheese, smoked salmon, etc then here’s your huckleberry!
(Note: the pumpernickel flavor is extremely subtle.)
